The human renal system, also known as the urinary system, is a complex network of organs responsible for removing waste and excess fluid from the body. It consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra, all of which work together to maintain the body's internal balance. The kidneys play a vital role in filtering the blood, removing waste products and regulating fluid and electrolyte levels in the body. The ureters carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder, where it is stored until it is eliminated through the urethra.
