The statuette of Pharaoh Khufu is an exceptional artefact from ancient Egypt, as it is the only known representation of this pharaoh.

He wears the red crown of Lower Egypt (desheret).

Khufu is best known as the builder of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

Unlike other pharaohs, he left very few statues behind. This statuette is therefore a major source of information about his symbolic appearance and royal iconography.
